I will write more later, but please keep these people in your prayers. Sharon, Larry, Lindsay, and Sara Thomsen. Sam, Larry and Sharon's youngest, was one of the young Boy Scouts who was killed in the tornado in Iowa. They are members here at Southwest.

Small world Jim. I received a phone call in the church office of the Bay Area Church of Christ in Mango, Florida from a member here calling to ask for prayers for his family - one of the Boy Scouts killed in the tornado, Sam Thomsen was the son of his niece, who actually lived in Omaha. I, just for the sake of looking for more information on Sam "googled" his name and it lead me straight to your blog. It's been a long time! I would love to catch up with you. Aloha (aloha_h@hotmail.com)
How incredibly sad to hear.
Praying indeed for the Thomsens.
The family is in our prayers.
I love you.
Greetings from Bloomington, In.
The Thomsen family, as well as the brothers and sisters at Southwest, are in our prayers for strength and comfort while you struggle with this great loss.
Our sincere and heartfelt prayers are with the family and friends of this young man. I will pass the prayer request on to the rest of the church family here at Dalton Gardens church of Christ in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
In His Service,
Kathy Taylor
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families. Our son also a scout, christian, and homeschooler sounds much like Sam. 1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[a]; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
